Salutations,
I finally upgraded to Spotify premium (...student because gotta save some dolla bills yo) and its honestly been life changing (#nonspon). I've downloaded some music to my phone that I've been playing nonstop in the car and on walks with my dog. So, today I thought I'd share what I've been listening to and loving in my first ever Music Mondaze post. It's currently 10 pm on Monday May 1st, but better late than never. Also, before I start I'm the worst at describing things and putting things into categories/genres but i'll try my best to keep things short and sweet and somewhat informative.

I usually find music through recommendations on the internet and I know that's how I decided to listen to Khalid but i cant remember from whose recommendation. Khalid is such a young talented artist and this album is about being young and in love during this day and age. This album is so relatable lyrically and the beats are soOO good.

Before releasing this album John released two eps or waves and the album introduced the last wave of new songs. This album is just so pleasant to listen to and John's voice is honestly just one of my favorites.

On Easter, my cousin was asking everyone if "they heard the new Kendrick" most of us hadn't and he raved about the album and said it was "slaps" This album is so hyped at the moment and humble is played in the background of many a snaps and instastories. But its hyped for good reason, this album is so brilliant and you gotta listen to it in its entirety.

I have a confession to make...I'm a directioner and One Direction will always have a special place in my heart. It's interesting to see the boys start their own individual careers and explore new genres. Honestly though the other boys' music hasn't been my cup of tea but Harry I can fuck with (also Zayn's music but this is about Harry rnow). I loved his SNL performance of Sign of the Times and Ever Since New York. His vocals, his guitar playing, his outfit, just everything about it and him I love.

I didn't even realize Paramore was releasing new music. I subscribe to their label on Youtube and the music video to Hard Times popped up in my subscription box. I love the aesthetics of the music video and I love blasting this song on my drive home. A great song to shout the lyrics. I can't wait for more new music/album!
That's all for now! So much new music is coming out in the next couple months (Logic is dropping his new album in less than a week and im so stoked) but expect to see more Music Mondaze posts in the future. I hope you enjoyed this post and comment down below what you've been listening to.
